03/25/26: We have been informed of an issue where unplugging and replugging your controller resets the LED settings to the base state with version 0.7.11 of GP2040. See the link below to download the latest 0.7.12 firmware!


To update your controller, plug it into a Windows computer. Hold down X+Y+BACK buttons for five seconds or until a new storage device called RPI-RP2 is detected. Drag and drop the correct firmware file into the storage device and it will automatically update. NOTE: The firmware files for the Compact and the Nano are NOT the same!
